Continuing Education and Professional Development
You will be supported even before you start. Before you begin working, you’ll attend our new hire training, and you’ll meet with members of Foundations leadership team to review policies and procedures and ask questions.

First few weeks
Your first few weeks will include:
Participation in online trainings covering early childhood topics.
Review of procedures and paperwork to understand Foundations core values and principles.
Time to meet with your leadership team.
Ongoing support
You will have many opportunities to meet with your Center Director. Staff evaluations and observations occur at least three times per year, where you’ll discuss the contributions you’ve made to Foundations. This is an opportunity to share your experience and talk about your future career with Foundations. Your Center Director will work with you on a success plan. In addition, monthly staff meetings are another chance to receive ongoing support. Topics discussed in these meetings include:

Monthly training topics
CACFP
Professional support
In-Service Days
Twice a year, Foundations will close to conduct trainings. These training sessions will focus on topics of interest.
During this time you will connect with other teachers and the leadership team. You will leave with new ideas to use in your classroom.
