Management Team

Lisa is the Operator of Foundations Early Learning Center and also the owner of Discover the World Children’s Centers. She has been an owner of a child care facility since 1992. Discover the World Children’s Center opened in 2009 and she has since opened 2 more centers. Lisa is married, the mother of 5 and resides in Sayre, PA. She enjoys most spending time with her family. Other interests are swimming and attending her children’s sporting events. Lisa has a Child Development degree and the Pennsylvania Director Credential. Throughout the years she has taken various additional college courses and trainings in the Early Childhood field.

Michaela has worked in childcare for 7 years and most recently served in an administrative role for Discover the World Children’s Center. She hopes to utilize her experience in childcare to help provide the best possible care to the many families we serve.

Michaela graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and has also worked in various teaching positions in the local school districts.

Michaela resides in Sayre, PA with her husband and three children. She loves spending time with family and getting to experience life through her children’s eyes.
